01:00 CET – Sorana Cirstea defeats Anastasia Zakharova in straight sets 6-1, 7-5 to advance in Cleveland. She continues her dominant run after previously upsetting top-seeded Liudmila Samsonova.

22:21 CET – Botic van de Zandschulp has moved into the Winston-Salem semi-finals, beating Yunchaokete Bu 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 in a real battle, one that lasted for just over two and a half hours.

The Dutchman will next face Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard for a place in the final.

21:51 CET – In some really unfortunate news, Sebastian Korda has pulled out of tonight’s semi with illness, meaning Marton Fucsovics advances to the final.

Play gets underway in a couple of hours in Winston-Salem, with home favourite Sebastian Korda taking on Hungary’s Marton Fucsovics in the first semi-final at 22:00 CET.

Ninth seed Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard awaits either Botic van de Zandschulp or Yunchaokete Bu in the other last-four tie, while in Cleveland, second seed Xinyu Wang will be targeting a spot in tomorrow’s final.

Elsewhere, there are a couple of intriguing semi-finals in Monterrey, as Diana Shnaider takes on Alycia Parks at 01:00 CET and Ekaterina Alexandrova comes up against Marie Bouzkova.
