Can you believe it? It’s almost here. The world’s best cyclists in the junior, under-23 and elite categories are coming to Montréal for the 2026 road world championships.
Each category will compete in the time trial and road races, and there is also the mixed relay. (The only race where the sole time you can wear your rainbow jersey to the coffee shop.)
Canada has some very strong riders in all categories, including, of course, elite women’s defending champ Magdeleine Vallières Mill.
Canadian Cycling Magazine will be on the ground for the entire week, so if you can’t make it, check back here for reports — and do check out our Instagram page, too, as there will be plenty of content.
And great news: you can watch the races for free on CBC Gem.
