Hayward shows his skills
Will Hayward was fuming with Chad Warner after he blazed away from outside 50m but minutes later, Warner lowered his eyes and found Hayward in the right pocket.
Hayward’s check-sided snap curved into the goals.

Blakey finishes team goal
The Swans did well to take the ball from defence and then burst forward with Papley seeing Nick Blakey running free into attack and finding him with a sweeping handball.
Blakey converted and gave the home fans the “shoosh” symbol.
That should fire up both his teammates and these Eagles fans.

Buller kicks his second goal
Jack Buller is continuing to present for the Swans and the key forward took a strong mark after peeling off and finding space in the forward 50m arc.
He went back and booted his second goal.

Swans forward Jack Buller made a strong mark and then kicked the goal to bring the Swans within a point of the home side.
But the Eagles kept fighting on and ruckman Matt Flynn snuck forward and took a strong mark before going back and kicking his goal.

West Australian native Chad Warner was left by himself in the forward 50m and he beat his man in a marking contest and then went back and kicked the goal.
Neither side can keep hold of their momentum.

Shanahan, Newton regain lead
The Eagles have kicked clear again as Jacob Newton kicked his first goal in the AFL and then the Eagles found key forward Jobe Shanahan free close to goal.
He marked cleanly and then went back and booted his second goal.

Ginbey in the wars
Ginbey leapt into a marking contest but his shin or possibly knee hit the body of his teammate as he was about to leave his feet.
He landed awkwardly and has now limped off and gone to the rooms.

Papley hits the target
The Swans are back in the lead after Reuben Ginbey made a thoughtless turnover.
The Swans marked his kick on the 50-metre arc, found Tom Papley in the pocket, and he kicked the goal.
