Original cast members said to be “very enthusiastic” about the prospect of a Glee revival.
Don’t stop believin’…
Ryan Murphy is readying a revival for Glee with original cast members.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight he said, “I just finished the script an hour ago. So, we have a script. Brad [Falchuk], Ian [Brennan] and I, who wrote all the first two seasons, have written something. I’ve been in touch with around 10 of the original cast members. It’s very sweet, and they all had a lot of questions, but they all were very enthusiastic about the idea.”
It isn’t clear if he is referring to a series or a one-off film project?
Lea Michele, who played Rachel Berry for all six seasons, recently told E! News, “I love Glee. I will always love Glee. I love Ryan Murphy. It just holds such a special place in my heart for me… I will follow Ryan wherever he goes.”
Glee, which screened from 2009 – 2015 also featured Dianna Agron, Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Heather Morris, Chris Colfer, Amber Riley, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Jayma Mays, Darren Criss, Chord Overstreet, Harry Shum Jr. and the late Corey Monteith, Naya Rivera, Mark Salling.
