The line-up for Friday’s Late Late Show on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player has been announced, with “top names from the worlds of sport and entertainment” joining host Patrick Kielty.

Rosie O’Donnell
Announcing the line-up, the Late Late said: “Comedian and actress Rosie O’Donnell will chat about putting down roots in Ireland, making a triumphant return to US television this summer, and her upcoming stint on Broadway. She’ll also discuss the reaction to US President Donald Trump’s visit to Ireland.

Rhasidat Adeleke
“Two of the standout Irish stars of the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, Rhasidat Adeleke and Kate O’Connor, will join Paddy for a chat. They’ll talk about how it felt to add two new medals to their haul, the ups and downs of their journeys to the Championships, and inspiring the next generation of athletes.

“Plus, the unlikely duo we never knew we needed… Irish rugby legend Donncha O’Callaghan and comedian Emma Doran will tell Patrick about their eventful jaunt to the Wife Carrying World Championships in Finland, as part of new RTÉ series Donncha’s Away Games. They’ll also be talking about mortifying mams, disastrous dads, and why Ireland’s Fittest Family is a uniquely Irish phenomenon.

“Broadcaster Gráinne Seoige will be joining Patrick. In 2024, while she was canvassing door to door for the general election, Gráinne was informed that AI-generated sexual deepfake images of her had been circulated. Gráinne will discuss the impact these images had on her and how she feels action is needed to take back control in a rapidly changing world.
