There’s only one Jacob Elordi, but apparently, there’s no shortage of impersonators desperate for their five minutes of fame and eager to prove their ‘uncanny’ resemblance to the Aussie heart-throb.
While the Euphoria actor is officially off the market and happily coupled up with Kendall Jenner, that didn’t stop around 500 students from congregating at the University of Bristol’s College Green in search of a local doppelganger.

The viral event was orchestrated by the university’s social media community group, Overheard.
Hopeful participants were required to strut down a makeshift runway and bust out their best Aussie accents to channel the popular Queenslander.
Jamie Crook, a veterinary student who didn’t take home the crown but was affectionately dubbed “Jacob 1”, admitted his likeness to Elordi had done wonders for his love life.
“For the better half of seven years, since The Kissing Booth came out, Jacob Elordi has carried my dating career,” he told the BBC.
“Also, shout out to my barber. Every time he cuts my hair I show him a picture of Jacob Elordi and he just sorts it out.
“You’ve got to go with what works.”
Joey Lush, who was tragically labelled “Jacob 4”, argued he bore the closest physical resemblance to the Frankenstein leading man, but blamed his bad accent impersonation for having to settle for second place.
Mr Lush revealed he had gathered outfit inspiration from Pinterest and finished off his ensemble by “grabbing a tote bag from the fresher’s fair”.
“He’s a very stylish guy, so I tried my best,” the student explained.
“I did not realise what I was signing up for — I was a bit nervous going up.”
The actual winner? An unnamed 17-year-old girl who leaned into the absurdity of the joke contest by wearing a fake moustache.
However, commenters on social media were quick to poke fun at the competition, brutally pointing out that the men didn’t actually resemble the famous A-lister at all.
“The only Jacob we could afordi,” one person joked online.
“Performative men meetup,” a second sneered, while a third added: “Bristol loves our budget Jacob Elordi”.
Despite the disappointed fans, others were absolutely stoked with the prospects.
“I’m hosting the next one at my house,” one eager fangirl chimed in.
“Most of those guys look way better than Jacob Elordi himself lol,” another happy viewer noted.
Elordi regularly makes headlines for his trendsetting fashion and for embracing his effeminate side, often accessorising his outfits with a chic tote or high-end designer bag.
To complete the ultimate cool-boy aesthetic, he effortlessly rocks his signature moustache, delicate jewellery, and vintage caps.
