Stephen Curry is currently preparing for his 17th season in the NBA. Once again, the veteran sharpshooter will be tasked with leading the Golden State Warriors‘ offense, as they bid to add another championship to Curry’s long list of achievements, both individually and with the franchise.
The NBA recently dropped the Warriors’ schedule for the 2025-26 season, giving Curry an opportunity to get a feel for where the potential ebbs and flows will come. When speaking with Ali Thanawalla of NBC Sports Bay Area, at his annual “Curry Camp,” the veteran sharpshooter shared some initial thoughts on the upcoming schedule.
“You take a good amount of time just seeing the flow of the whole year,” Curry said. “I mean, there are certain cities I love to go to. You look at New York. You look at Charlotte for me. Toronto. Mostly where family is and you try to know when you’re going to have some planning to know when you’re going to be there. Long road trips. That type of stuff. But you don’t get too deep into it.”
Curry will undoubtedly be confident in Golden State’s championship potential. They’re only three seasons removed from their last banner, hoisting it in 2022. Of course, the roster will need some improvements, especially in terms of quality depth. Unfortunately, the Warriors have been stuck in neutral this summer, as they wait for their contractual stalemate with Jonathan Kuminga to reach a resolution.

Only then can the Warriors begin making preparations for the upcoming season and a potential run through the deep and talented Western Conference.
