Taylor Swift brought dazzling footwear to the 2026 MTV VMAs with a pair of Le Silla sandals, which complemented her Tamara Ralph gown. The pop star, who has directed many of her own music videos, is set to be awarded with the first-ever MTV VMA Artist Director Honors.

Swift went with a strappy heeled sandal style from the luxury Italian-made footwear brand Le Silla. The style featured an arrangement of criss-crossing straps embellished with crystals, which matched the sparkle of the skirt portion of her Tamara Ralph dress; the upper also featured a buckled ankle strap. The base of the sandal was metallic silver, creating an all-around glamorous aesthetic. The look was elevated by Le Silla’s recognizable stiletto heel shape which flares ever so slightly.

Swift’s dress was a fall 2026 Tamara Ralph design with a high-neck black bodice featuring sheer panels and a high-shine glittering silver skirt with draped detailing at the waist.
Swift has embraced Le Silla shoe styles in the past, including the brand’s Eva thigh-high boots and Gilda mesh-sock sandals.

For the rest of her look, Swift wore her shoulder-length hair out with her signature bangs and cat eyeliner on display but she eschewed her signature red lip in favor of a natural pink color. Her accessories included long dangling earrings.

The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards returned to Los Angeles on Sunday at the Peacock Theater, marking the show’s first West Coast edition since 2017.
