ABC Managing Director Hugh Marks has announced the appointment of Dr Trent Dickeson as Chief Operating Officer.
Trent joins the ABC after more than a decade in senior executive roles at Seven West Media, most recently as COO. During his 13 years with the company, he led major business, finance, technology and operational initiatives across the organisation.
As COO, Trent oversaw operations and strategy for a workforce of more than 3,000 employees, leading business continuity, modernisation programs and large-scale technology and infrastructure projects.
He began his career at Deloitte, advising global organisations on strategy, supply chain optimisation and operating model transformation, helping drive productivity, efficiency and sustainable business outcomes.

Trent will start with the ABC on 19 October.
