Oppo’s next Android tablet is now thought to debut alongside the brand’s next flagship smartphone, thanks to a new tip. It might be smaller than the current flagship Pad 4 Pro, yet pack a new, more iPad-like UI. Those initial specs leak hint at the release of a slate of the budget variety – or of a whole new type entirely.
Oppo’s next Android tablet is on the way – although it is not likely to be a successor to the Pad 4 Pro, as hinted in a new leak.
It asserts that the upcoming Pad will be marketed as having a 10,300mAh battery (based on its predicted rated capacity of 10,165mAh), as opposed to ~12,140mAh in the 13.2-inch 4 Pro.Â
That would make for a nice (if minimal) upgrade over the 9,340mAh, 11-inch Pad SE – presuming the next-gen slate is not in fact the rumored, potentially super-powered “compact tablet” that Oppo might also sell via its popular subsidiary OnePlus.
Either way, the tablet is now also backed to run ColorOS 16 out of the box, a cutting-edge Android 16-based UI backed to confer Apple-grade cross-platform ‘magic‘ on the new tablet. That might even include the advanced ability to pair and share things with iPhones.
This supposed next-gen Oppo Pad is now projected to launch alongside the brand’s next flagship smartphone and smartwatch in early 2026.
