Three people have been found unresponsive, two with stab wounds, after police responded to a report of a concern for welfare in the Blue Mountains.
Police said emergency services arrived at the home on Myall Avenue, Leura about 7.30am Sunday where they located the two men with multiple stab wounds.
The men, aged in their 40s, were taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition, NSW Police said in a statement.
Police said a woman in her 60s was also found at the home unconscious.
She was taken to Blue Mountains District Hospital in a critical condition.
A crime scene has been established as police investigate the circumstances behind the incident.
A neighbour, who did not want to be named, said they heard sirens in the street from around 7.30am.
“We had no idea what was going on,” they said.
