Historic studios are back in business with 10 game show opening a new chapter.

Just over a year ago it looked like the end of the road for the historic Nunawading Studios facility, but while development is proceeding on site, Millionaire Hot Seat is also in production with filming set to commence shortly.

Season One of the 10 game show previously filmed at Docklands Studios.

Matt Batten from Nunawading Studios / TV City said: “We are absolutely delighted to have Millionaire Hot Seat at Nunawading Studios.

“With so many game shows having been produced from these studios over the years, it’s fantastic to have another major Australian game show shooting here.

“There is a real energy around the studios at the moment. Productions are coming through the doors, sets are being built, crews are working and the cameras are rolling.

“Our focus has always been on getting these studios busy again and creating a facility where major productions want to come and work.”

The site features two large studio spaces, production offices, construction and storage areas.

Casting for Millionaire Hot Seat reopened in recent weeks. You can apply here.
