In footage that has gone viral on social media, a Roosters fan can be seen walking out of the disabled toilet while a man in a wheelchair waits to enter.
The embarrassed supporter failed to hide just how mortified he was as he slid away beyond the individual waiting patiently for his turn.
The humbled fan covered his face and began nervously laughing as he came to terms with what had just happened.
And viewers of the clip have offered their opinions on the disastrous episode that the man will surely never live down.
One reacted: “The walk of shame… but a different kind.”
While another added: ”Shoulda started limping.”
And a third responded: ”Classic Roosters fan.”
Despite the nightmare moment, it ended up being a memorable day for Roosters fans for all the right reasons.
Two tries from Mark Nawaqanitawase inspired them to a 16th premiership and their fourth in 13 years to go with their 2013, 2018 and 2019 triumphs.
Meanwhile, it was heartbreak for the Knights who fell just short of an astonishing run having beaten the Rabbitohs, Warriors and Panthers in the finals.
