Mirra Andreeva said she was “very happy with my level” after beating Daria Snigur 6-4, 6-2 to reach the China Open quarter-finals.

Mirra Andreeva reached the China Open quarter-finals after beating Daria Snigur 6-4, 6-2 on Diamond Court. The Russian stayed in control and played steadily throughout the match. After the win, Andreeva was happy with her overall performance, especially the way she moved around the court, stayed in the rallies and reached difficult shots.

Andreeva happy with her level

Andreeva said she was happy with the way she played so far. She said Snigur was a very difficult opponent because she brought different challenges to the court. Since they had never played each other before, Andreeva had to make many adjustments during the match and trust her own game.

“Yes, I’m very happy with the way I play today. I think she’s a very tricky opponent to play against. I’ve never played against her, so I was just happy with my level today on the court.”

She also said that staying solid was an important part of her performance and she did not make many changes during the match and she was able to keep playing at the same level. This significantly helped her handle the important points and gave Snigur fewer chances to fight back.

Andreeva enjoys her movement

Andreeva was also pleased with the effort she put into reaching balls across the court. Her movement helped her stay involved in long exchanges and gave her more chances to keep pressure on her opponent.

“I think I was pretty solid. I liked the way that I was running to try to get all of the shots, so I’m pretty happy with my performance today.”

Andreeva said that she was very happy with more than just the result. She was very much pleased with the way she had completed the match, moved around the court and stayed completely focused during the match. After another strong performance, she is now moving into the next round with more confidence in her game.
