UFC Legend Unloads On Movsar Evloev: “How The F*ck Is He Still In The UFC?”

A UFC Hall of Famer is surprised Movsar Evloev is still a part of the promotion, despite failing to finish any of his opponents inside the octagon.

Top UFC featherweight contender Evloev, who’s going to challenge champion Alexander Volkanovski later this month at UFC 333, boasts a pro-MMA record of 20-0 and is 10-0 in the UFC. However, the Russian has yet to secure a single finish, with all of his UFC wins coming by decision.

Recently, an all-time MMA great took a jab at Evloev over his lack of killer instinct and failure to record a finish.

During a sit-down with Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya, Demetrious Johnson shared his thoughts on Movsar Evloev. “Mighty Mouse” quipped:

“Undefeated, 20-0, no finishes, how the f*ck is he still in the UFC? They just cut MVP… The UFC are cutting people who aren’t exciting. No knockouts… Movsar Evloev does know how to win… He is undefeated, no knockouts. [But] Not even a submission?”

Meanwhile, Adesanya said this about Evloev:

“He’s a grappler with no finishes or no knockout.”

Movsar Evloev is planning to finish current and two-time featherweight champ “The Great” at UFC 333

Evloev plans to secure his first UFC finish and dethrone Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 333. In his most recent fight earlier this year against Lerone Murphy, the Russian showcased improved striking to impress the UFC brass and earn a title shot, and now he has even bigger plans. During an interview with MMA Fighting, Evloev said:

“I don’t want to hear this [old excuse] again, so I want him [Alexander Volkanovski] to be in his prime, in the best condition, so I can show my skills… This is my first title fight, and we are looking to make it my first finish in the UFC.”
