Bhutani Filmfare Awards Punjabi 2025: Amrinder Gill Wins Best Actor For Mittran Da Challeya Truck Ni, Neeru Bajwa Bags Best Actress For Shayar
The wait is over as we now have the winners of the glamorous and prestigious Bhutani Filmfare Awards Punjabi 2025, co-presented by EaseMyTrip. The star-studded event took place on August 23 at the IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali. Amrinder Gill bagged the Best Actor award for Mittran Da Challeya Truck Ni, while Neeru Bajwa clinched the Best Actress trophy for Shayar.
More about the winners of the night! At the grand awards night, Ardaas Sarbat De Bhalle Di won Best Film, and Amar Hundal was honoured with Best Director for Warning 2. The Critics’ Choice honours went to Bibi Rajni and Shayar, with Jagjeet Sandhu (Oye Bhole Oye) and Roopi Gill (Bibi Rajni) taking home the Best Actor (Critics’) and Best Actress (Critics’) titles. Gurpreet Ghuggi (Ardaas Sarbat De Bhalle Di) and Hardip Gill (Mittran Da Challeya Truck Ni) shared the award for Best Supporting Actor, while Nirmal Rishi was named Best Supporting Actress for Jatt Nuu Chudail Takri.
Balraj Syal (Apne Ghar Begane) and Happy Rode (Rode College) jointly won Best Debut Director, with Pranjal Dahiya (Rose Rosy Te Gulab) and Vishal Brar (Rode College) crowned Best Debut Female and Best Debut Male. Satinder Sartaaj’s soulful Bhulliye Kive’n (Shayar) won Best Playback Singer (Male), while Jyoti Nooran earned Best Playback Singer (Female) for Bibi Rajni. Other notable wins included Best Story, Screenplay, Dialogue, Background Score, and Production Design for Bibi Rajni across various categories, while Shayar claimed Best Music Album. Warning 2 stood out in Best Sound Design and Best Action, while Jatt and Juliet 3 won Best Editing and Best Choreography.
The evening also celebrated industry veterans, with Guggu Gill receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, Hans Raj Hans honoured as a Living Legend, and the Special Jury Award for Pathbreaking Cinema going to Jaggi, directed by Anmol Sidhu and featuring Ramnish Chaudhary.
The award night brimmed with glitz, music, and star power, featuring electrifying performances by Jacqueline Fernandez, Bismil, and Simran Chaudhary.
