Officials needed for Central Oregon youth basketball

The Central Oregon Basketball Officials Association (COBOA) is looking for new officials for the upcoming middle school and high school basketball seasons.
As basketball continues to grow across Central Oregon, so does the need for officials to keep games running smoothly. Officiating is a great way to stay involved in the game, stay active and give back to the local community.
No experience is necessary. COBOA provides the training and support needed to get started. Officiating is paid and schedules are flexible.
COBOA serves middle schools and high schools throughout Central Oregon, and officials of all experience levels are encouraged to get involved.
Those interested in becoming a basketball official can attend an orientation meeting Monday, Oct. 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the Mountain View High School library.
Those unable to attend the meeting are still encouraged to reach out.
For more information, contact COBOA commissioner Mike Gish at 541-654-2380 or gishfam@hotmail.com, or COBOA president Nathaniel Collins at 541-604-1513 or ncollins.arbiter@gmail.com.
