Actress and comedian Kristen Wiig not only debuted darker hair at Paris Fashion Week, but she also appeared to be sporting a noticeably different face.
The former Saturday Night Live star stunned fans when she attended the Chanel Spring/Summer show on Monday, with chatter about her new look still a hot topic of conversation on social media three days later.

The 53-year-old came dressed for the occasion in a strapless black mini dress that featured the brand’s double-C logo at the front, and her usual blonde hair was replaced with a darker hue. But it was Wiig’s almost unrecognisable face that got fans talking.
“?? Who is this, cause I know that ain’t Kristen,” one X user wrote, while another said, “This is not the Kristen wiig I remember.”

Wiig caught even more attention when she featured in a viral video alongside pop star Dua Lipa, actor Pedro Pascal and our very own Nicole Kidman.
The foursome, who were all seated front row at the show, took the time to film a TikTok to the tune of pop star Adela’s hit song titled Nicole Kidman – a track the Slovak singer wrote in honour of the Aussie star.
In the now-viral clip, Wiig, Pascal and Lipa lip-synch to Adela’s hit, each taking turns to sing the lines: “Every single night. I pray that my tits are sitting right. Moulin Rouge, my corset is so tight. Babygirl in control,” before Kidman finishes the verse with this line, “I feel like Nicole.”
Social media again erupted about Wiig’s appearance after that TikTok went viral.
“That does not look like Kristen Wiig,” one Reddit user wrote, as another echoed, “When she popped up at first I was like wait, who is this person? I didn’t see her listed in the title. I had to watch it again lol.”
“[I] thought idk this person but she looks a little like Kate Beckinsale? Now I can see it’s [Kristen] but wow my brain didn’t register that at first,” another said of the clip.
Fans have also said that Wiig looks more like Emily Blunt, Nikki Glaser, Liz Hurley and Jennifer Aniston than herself.
While Wiig has yet to speak out on her more youthful appearance, she did previously discuss ageing in Hollywood in past interviews.
“When I first moved there, there was ‘the dream’, as there is for a lot of people,” she told Glamour magazine in 2014. “Then I got really scared.”
“I moved there and I was like, ‘Oh, I don’t have any experience,’ and I was surrounded by people a lot younger than I am, a lot better looking than I am, who’ve been acting for a while, who’ve been taking classes, who already have agents and I just felt like, ‘Oh, there’s a lot of work I have to do.’”
In a 2016 interview when promoting Zoolander 2, she was asked about her character Alexanya Atoz in that movie who whose cheeks and lips were noticeably overfilled.
“It’s a balance … you know when people are older and get some little things done, if you want to do it, do it,” she said told journalist Kjersti Flaa at the time.
