Footy’s best and fairest season has crowned a new best on ground — this year it was the colour white.

As always the week of awards nights for Victorian clubs presented a stylish deep dive into Melbourne’s fashion scene.

This year was no different and we couldn’t help notice a few trends.

Kicking off with the Tigers, it was apparent when bombshell model Brooke Bailey arrived that we’d be seeing a trend.

The partner of Dion Prestia was a vision in an ethereal fitted gown. It was followed in consecutive days by a string of white cut-outs and beaded bodices with Lexi Lobb again a standout.

Collingwood’s Mikayla Crisp and Frankie Evans kept the white out going with stunning curated looks, and it ended on a high with the Saints girls Maddie Antonis and Ruby Dixon on Monday night.

The black Effie Kats two-piece square shoulder number was popular — seen on back-to-back-to-back nights at Melbourne, Hawthorn and Carlton — on Grace Silvagni, Elonie Meek, Polly Frankcombe and Stacey Melksham.

We were green with envy for glowing mums, namely Mardi Dangerfield, Tayla Broad, Aisha Jade McKinnon and Emily Membrey.

Abs were on show in tasteful displays by Chloe Wheatland, Hannah Avsar and Blues AFLW player Keeley Sheerar — the former partner of Hawthorn’s Nick ‘Wizard’ Watson who is now dating Carlton’s Flynn Young.

Yellow made its mark on Mattie Gouman and Charli Perdriau, while black was still a hot favourite worn effortlessly by Arlette Amor, Chloe Geraerts, Claudia Piva Cerra and Nadia Barrass.

If you’ve got it flaunt it, and so did Alexandra Merrett, Grace Parish, Liv Taylor, Timnah Poratt, Jasmine Bowes and Lily Mitchell.

All the frocks and fillies deserve a medal — bravo.
