The Chaz Mostert/Fabian Coulthard Toyota Supra was fastest with a 2:05.3206s in cool conditions.
It’s the first session that Toyota has topped all weekend.
The session offered teams an opportunity to practice pit stops and driver changes ahead of the gruelling 161-lapper.
There were no major incidents, save for a close call during a Team 18 pit stop when David Reynolds hit the left rear tyre entering his pit bay and bounced off the fuel gantry.
Brodie Kostecki reported a vibration in the final five minutes of the session.
“I think I’ve got a vibration on this set of tyres,” Kostecki radioed.
His co-driver Todd Hazelwood downplayed any issues for the #17 Dick Johnson Racing Ford Mustang, which will start the race from second.
“All okay, just precautionary stuff to be fair,” said Kostecki’s co-driver.
“The car feels really good. From a car #17 point of view, we’ve done an amazing job all week.
“The preparation has been tin top perfect and feeling really confident going into this race with Brodie and the whole team at Shell V-Power Racing.
“Bring it on, 161 laps. It’s a long day as we all know, but we’re in a great position to start it at least and we’ll get our head down and go from there.”
The Bathurst 1000 gets underway at 11:30am AEDT.
