Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville has suffered another blow amid her health and financial issues, announcing the death of her father, Guy Glanville, aged 77.
“My dad died, I’m gutted I hate this life right now,” the reality TV star, 53, wrote on X on October 11, alongside a broken heart emoji.

Glanville did not confirm Guy’s cause of death, though she had shared he was dealing with health issues earlier this year.
In a late September episode of her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast, she said she had a chance to say a proper goodbye before his death.
“I’m so glad I saw my dad because if I didn’t, I would be hating myself forever,” she said.
“And I told him, ‘You’ve got to fight.’ I don’t think he wants to.”
Glanville had a previously rocky relationship with Guy, who was also father to her siblings Tricia and Michael.
They had a period of estrangement after an appearance on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition in 2018.
She said she had warned him reality TV would not show every part of their journey, but his embarrassment over the edit fractured their relationship.
“My dad and I, we left the show in a great space and then, when the show aired, we haven’t talked since,” Glanville told Entertainment Tonight shortly after the show’s premiere.

They had patched things up by 2020 and Glanville had given brief updates on her father’s health throughout 2026.
“Been completely off the grid. Dad’s in cardiac unit at the hospital and it’s day 13 now,” she wrote in May.
“We are both medical mysteries. Pray for my dad Guy Glanville.”
She has been battling serious health issues of her own with a series of infections affecting her face.

Glanville has shared the strain of her health issues, including an 18-hour daily IV regimen and medical bills she has struggled to pay.
In September, she said she was battling several diagnoses including bacterial and fungal infections as well as mononucleosis, also known as glandular fever.
She will soon undergo exploratory surgery to get to the bottom of what she believes are “facial parasites”.

She had a realisation while watching herself during a brief appearance on US reality show Special Forces, she said.
Glanville said she looked like “a thick neck with a Beetlejuice head and I’m like, ‘Holy f—.’ Like, something is in my face eating it. I know they’re going to find that out when they go in there.”
Glanville rose to fame as a cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from 2011 to 2015. She was previously married to actor Eddie Cibrian.
