Long-time Sky Sports F1 commentator Martin Brundle has reassured Kim Kardashian that there are no hard feelings after she snubbed him earlier this year.

Brundle’s commentary has been an integral part of Formula One’s racing culture and community since he first joined the network in 1997.

During the pre-race grid walks, Brundle often conducts short, cheeky interviews with the drivers, team principals, and any celebrity attendees.

Kardashian, apparently unfamiliar with the sport’s grid etiquette, was brutally silent when Brundle approached her at the Monaco Grand Prix back in June.

Kardashian, 45, was there to support boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, 41, in her very first appearance in the paddock since the two started dating rumours back in January.

Four months later, Kardashian is back and seems to have learned a thing or two about her F1 faux pas.

At last night’s Singapore Grand Prix, where Hamilton started third on the grid, she and Brundle had a grid walk interview re-do.

Brundle approached Kardashian moments before the race at Marina Bay Circuit and was met with all smiles.

“Did I not know the rules?” Kardashian said as Brundle approached her. “Did we get off on the wrong foot?” Kardashian asked, through laughter.

Brundle, a forgiving man, responded, “No, it’s absolutely fine,” assuring her it was “lovely to see [her] again at a Grand Prix.”

Asked what she thinks about the “crazy world of Formula One”, Kardashian answered with a much-more PR friendly answer.

“I think it’s amazing and fun and wild and something I’ve never seen before,” she said, adding once again that “it’s amazing.”

Brundle then attempted to ask Kardashian what she thought of Hamilton’s performance as of late.

“Your man Lewis, he is in great form,” Brundle said of the seven-time world champion.

Kardashian affirmed, “He is,” and said that she was praying for the best.

Asked whether Hamilton was confident, she said “Yes, very confident, and so am I. Just got to pray for the best.”

Kim Kardashian cops major backlash over ‘plain rude’ act to F1 royalty

Kardashian and Brundle’s reunion comes months after their initial awkward exchange in Monaco.

“How are you today?” Brundle asked, only to be met with complete silence and averted stares from the reality star and her sister, Khloe Kardashian.

Brundle then tried some reassuring words, “Yeah, normally people will have a quick chat with us. Are you enjoying F1?” to no avail.

The two Kardashian sisters awkwardly walked off.

Brundle played it off through laughter, asking: “Who else is in this?”

Brundle continued to walk around until he spotted Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who impressed a much more positive view on Brundle.

“I love chatting with them because they are real F1 fans,” Brundle said in a not-so-subtle diss at Kardashian. “They know their stuff, they watch it.”

The star received ridicule from F1 fans on social media at the time but isn’t the first celebrity to snub Brundle.

An X post that reads, “F1 fans have educated Kim Kardashian on grid protocol. You don’t brush Martin Brundle off…” garnered nearly 10k likes.

Another user had a theory for the SKIMS founder’s change of tune: “Lmao Lewis definitely told Kim off for blanking Martin Brundle last time.”

Despite starting in P3, Hamilton finished in sixth due to a poor tire strategy.

There are still six racers in contention to win the 2026 championship in December, with Hamilton currently in fourth place.

The Kardashian saga is not the first time Brundle has faced an awkward encounter at the Grand Prix, with a similar incident taking place with Megan Thee Stallion in 2021.

When Brundle tried to interview the rapper, despite her friendly attitude and response, her bodyguard proceeded to push Brundle away.

Someone in her entourage then said something to the effect of “you can’t do that” to which a new viral ‘Brundleism’ emerged: “I can do that, ’cause I did.”

It was announced earlier this year that Brundle would step back from full-time commentary, only reporting at 16 races a year.

Brundle called the reports “clickbait nonsense,” insisting there is no reduction from prior years.
