The latest
Ultimate Fighting Championship event featured a middleweight
matchup between “All In” and rising contender Christian
Leroy Duncan. The pair fought a back-and-forth battle, with
each finding success. Ultimately, Allen (28-7, 16-4 UFC) won
with a rear-naked choke at 2:46 of the fifth round.
With the win, Allen moves up one spot, overtaking longtime rival
Anthony Hernandez for No. 6 in Sherdog’s middleweight rankings.
Although “Fluffy” won their February 2025 matchup, their careers
have since taken different paths: Allen has won four straight
bouts, while Hernandez has lost two in a row. Former Cage Warriors
champion Duncan (15-3, 8-3 UFC) remains No. 14.
Earlier on the card, Lupita
Godinez (15-6, 10-6 UFC) defeated Ketlen
Souza (17-7, 4-4 UFC) in a 117-pound catchweight bout. Although
many media members scored the fight for Souza, “Loopy” earned a
unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring it 29-28. Godinez
is now 3-1 in her last four outings and retains the No. 11 spot in
Sherdog’s strawweight rankings. Souza, who missed the non-title
strawweight limit by one pound, will have to wait for another
opportunity to break into the Top 15.
