Sources have told the outlet that Blair’s bizarre outburst happened on a flight bound for John F Kennedy International Airport in New York.
According to 911 audio, which has been obtained by multiple US outlets, a pilot called for medical assistance and law enforcement to be on hand when the plane landed to help with an “abusive” passenger.
“Could you pass on to the folks at JFK, we’d like to have some medical personnel at the gates for a couple of [flight attendants] involved in the passenger incident,” the pilot said in the recording.
The pilot confirmed that ambulances were not needed, just medical personnel at the gate when the flight arrived.
One of the flight attendants was taken to hospital.
Sources have also said that Blair was put in restraints on the flight and arrested on landing.

Blair allegedly repeatedly kicked a Port Authority police officer in the head when she was being transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Once at the hospital, the Cruel Intentions star allegedly assaulted a nurse, who has pressed charges.
TMZ is reporting that Blair has been charged with two counts of assault, one on a police officer and another on a nurse.
“Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition,” her rep said in a statement to Page Six.
