A prefabricated pod designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Glenn Murcutt is for sale.
The 78-square-metre Rosby Pod, designed to be moved, is a rare project for Murcutt, who typically designs houses tailored to their sites. According to the sale material, the pod is one of two built to the same design. Fully self-contained, it was built in 2022 and currently sits on a rural property outside Mudgee, New South Wales.

Raised on narrow supports in keeping with Murcutt’s philosophy of touching the earth lightly, the pod has two bedrooms, one bathroom and a largely plywood-lined interior. Windows that jut out from the facade and louvres that open for ventilation give the pod a strong connection to the landscape, wherever it is placed.
Expressions of interest for the Rosby Pod are now being accepted. For details, contact John Mann.
