THE latest component of the Supercars silly season has been resolved, with the Blanchard Racing Team committing to an unchanged driver line-up.
That’s thanks to a new multi-year agreement for Aaron Cameron which should keep him at BRT through at least 2028.
Cameron was thought to be on a one-plus-one arrangement for this year, meaning there was a contract option in play but no hard guarantee of his place on next season’s grid.
Long anticipated, it’s now official that there will be no change of driver for the #3 Ford Mustang.
That ensures stability across the board, with #7 pilot James Golding currently in the first half of a two-year deal.
The duo opened their time as teammates in spectacular fashion, locking out the front row for Race 1 of the Sydney 500 and converting that into a double podium.

Cameron’s championship position of 20th does not reflect the pace he’s shown – something not lost on team principal Tim Blanchard.
“Aaron’s speed has never been in question, and this year he’s shown what he’s capable of when it’s all come together,” said Blanchard.
“What’s impressed me just as much is how he’s developed off the track, the time he puts into the workshop and how much the crew enjoy working with him.
“We believe his best is still ahead of him, and a multi-year deal is about backing that and giving him a stable platform to deliver it.”
All 63 of Cameron’s main game races to date have come with BRT, starting from when he co-drove with Aaron Love in the 2024 enduros.

Cameron then replaced Love in a full-time capacity from Round 2 of the 2025 season.
“Really happy to have locked in the next few years with BRT,” said the 26-year-old.
“I love being part of this team, the guys and girls work so hard and you can see where it’s heading. Having the same people around me means a lot, so a big thanks to Tim, JB (John Blanchard) and everyone at BRT for backing me.
“There’s plenty more to come from us.”
BRT joins Grove Racing, Triple Eight, Walkinshaw TWG, Tickford, Dick Johnson Racing and PremiAir Racing in having formally announced its full set of 2027 primary drivers.
