A 93-year-old man has been arrested after a woman was allegedly stabbed at a busy western Sydney shopping centre.
The 79-year-old woman was seriously injured at Westpoint Shopping Centre on Patrick Street in Blacktown about 10am on Sunday.

Paramedics treated the woman at the scene.
She was taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition with arm injuries.
The man was arrested nearby and taken to Blacktown Police Station.
No charges have been laid.
The man and woman are known to each other, police believe.
Police have cordoned off part of the shopping centre as they investigate the incident.
