A rough night inside the cage turned into a potentially massive payday outside of it for “La Loba.”

Popular former Combate Global fighter Lucero Acosta suffered a wardrobe malfunction during her Professional Fighters League (PFL) debut against Shannon Clark this past weekend (Fri., Oct. 16, 2026) at PFL Chicago.

While Clark had Acosta pinned against the canvas and was unloading ground-and-pound in the third round, Acosta’s fight top shifted and briefly exposed her chest during the live broadcast.

The fight continued, with Clark eventually securing the technical knockout victory at 1:59 of the final round (watch highlights).

Acosta later addressed the unexpected exposure on Instagram, revealing that the wardrobe malfunction produced an immediate surge in traffic — and subscriptions — to her OnlyFans account.

“Extra payment on @onlyfans because we showed our nipples during the @pflmma live,” Acosta wrote. “It’s cute. Official sponsor.”

The 32-year-old followed up on her Instagram Story by sharing a figure of $500,000.

Acosta did not clarify whether that number represented her total earnings, revenue generated by new subscriptions or something else entirely. The amount has also not been independently verified, but she appeared to directly connect the sudden payday to what happened during the PFL broadcast.

So, despite suffering a stoppage loss in her promotional debut, the evening was not a complete disaster for “La Loba.”

Acosta (6-3) entered PFL Chicago riding a four-fight winning streak and was doing very well in the first two rounds, but Clark overwhelmed her with pressure and ground-and-pound in the third round for the stoppage.

Clark, meanwhile, has now won four consecutive fights since suffering a stunning upset loss on Contender Series.

Former Combate Global CEO Campbell McLaren once touted Acosta as the most-watched women’s fighter in MMA history.

That popularity clearly followed her to PFL.

Acosta may have lost the fight, but if her reported OnlyFans windfall is even remotely accurate, “La Loba” did not leave Chicago empty-handed.
