Exodus Chiropractic celebrated its 15th anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 3, with a Williamson Inc. ribbon cutting ceremony.

The anniversary event also recognized the move to their new space at 120 Seaboard Lane in Franklin, where they relocated four years ago.

Exodus Chiropractic, owned and operated by Dr. Christopher Boles, is a faith-centered business with a purpose to serve God and help individuals heal. Boles opened his business in 2011, after deciding to combine his faith with his determination to be a business leader.

“I wondered what that looked like when I was in chiropractic school. I had the opportunity to hear a good friend and mentor of mine … and he’s what I would call an evangelist and chiropractor, and I remember thinking, ‘That’s the kind of chiropractor I want to become,’” Boles said.

He aimed to open an office somewhere in Tennessee that not only served clients’ chiropractic needs but also “points them to Jesus in their faith, as well.”

“What Exodus Chiropractic is known for in Franklin is the faith-based forward feel and family orientation,” he said. “I’m also really well known for an instrument style adjusting technique.”

Boles uses a scientific care technique called Torque Release, a gentle design that supports the nervous system using “a small, gentle, specific tool that delivers really great results and isn’t as scary as popping or twisting.”

A father of three (and soon-to-be father of four), Boles had only one child when he was deciding where to open Exodus Chiropractic. Then, he discovered Franklin, the perfect place to raise a family and grow alongside a budding community.

“Not only was I wanting to find a city that I could start a business in, but I also wanted a community that I could raise a family in,” he said. “I remember driving by Harlensdale Farm, and it felt like a dove was descending out of heaven over the farm. I remember driving by and going, ‘That’s the place for me.’”

Formerly along Carothers Parkway, Boles relocated to Seaboard Lane, and four years after the big move, team members and Chamber of Commerce ambassadors celebrated at Saturday’s ribbon cutting.

Boles said that recently, he was standing outside his building and looking at a banner that read “Thank you for 15 years.”

“It brought a lot of tears to my eyes because it reminded me of all the really challenging parts of starting a business, but all the really special parts of starting a business, so I think I’m just really thankful for Franklin allowing me to be here for so long,” Boles said.
