Nicole Kidman set one specific rule for her daughter Sunday Rose: she couldn’t start modelling until she was 16.
But it didn’t take long after reaching that milestone for her career to take off, with the 18-year-old just landing her first ever Vogue cover.

Sunday Rose made her debut in the German iteration of the publication dressed in Louis Vuitton, which was immortalised by photographer Sebastián Faena.
The teenage daughter of uncoupled megastars Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban has carefully cemented herself as a fashion mainstay since her first runway appearance on the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2025 runway in 2024 (and years of “nagging” her mum).
She recalls that Paris Fashion Week appearance as “truly insane”.

“I remember arriving there and thinking I knew so much about modelling but, in reality, I knew nothing at all.”
She’s since attended the Met Gala and walked in multiple fashion shows in New York, Milan and Paris.
A very different life to the regular 18-year-olds of the world. And she knows it.
“I’m very aware that I’m given opportunities that not everyone can have, and I’m truly grateful to be able to take advantage of them,” she said to Vogue, publicly addressing the “nepo baby” label successful children of celebrities are slapped with.

“When I’m at work, I make sure to always give my best, never come to work with a negative attitude, no matter how tired or jet-lagged I may be, and treat everyone with respect.”
Despite her rising star, she’s still committed to maintaining some version of normalcy: finishing school.
That means homework, exams and, yes, a school formal, which she shared photos from earlier this year wearing a $17,900 Oscar de la Renta dress.

Sharing her Vogue cover with her Instagram followers, Sunday Rose was in complete disbelief over what she describes as an “incredibly magical experience”.
“I could not be more grateful to be given this opportunity,” she wrote. “To see those words above my head means everything to me like seriously i am in shock… This is a dream come true.”
