Jules Neale and her ex-husband, AFL star Lachie Neale have both debuted some fresh ink on the same day, almost a year on from their highly public marriage breakdown.
By pure coincidence the former couple headed to their local tattoo shops for the new pieces, with Jules documenting her visit to Myca Ink in Perth in a video shared on Instagram.

“I did something so fun today I thought I’d film it and bring you along,” the 36-year-old said in the clip.
“I don’t know if this is classed as a mid-life crisis tat or not, but I’m going to say no.
“I went and got a matching tattoo with my baby brother today.”
Although Jules has only added to her slight collection of ink, her heavily tattooed brother appeared to have no worries with the new addition.
“We got this matching rose tattoo which symbolises growing through life together, which is pretty cute for siblings,” she added.
Jules got hers placed on the inside of her upper arm and said she “loved the placement” while her brother got his on his hand.
“Cool, now I want ten more,” she wrote in her caption alongside the video.
By pure coincidence her ex-husband also added to his growing collection, with a visit to Brisbane studio Ten/Ten Tattoo.
The 33-year-old AFL player, who recently announced his move to Collingwood, solidified his 2026 premiership win with an upgrade on the Brisbane Lions logo inked on his leg.

In a clip shared on Instagram by tattooist Rhys Sharp placing stencils, it appeared that Lachie was looking to add the years “2025” and “2026” to the logo and “2024” tattoo, to mark the club’s three consecutive premierships.
Earlier this year Jules shared her experience with laser tattoo removal, getting the L she had inked on her wrist – a tribute to her ex – removed.
Perth’s Bramis Facial Rejuvenation Clinics posted a short clip in June of Jules smiling and laughing as she had the tattoo removed.

“Getting rid of what no longer serves us… even if it was meant to be ‘permanent’,” the caption read.
“We’re helping @jules_neale say goodbye to the ink and hello to the next chapter.”
Jules commented on the video herself, writing, “You guys are the best ❤️🔥🥰🫶“.

Jules broke her silence on her and Lachie’s marriage breakdown on the Pretty Sure podcast with Adelle Petropoulos in late August.
The mum-of-two used the platform to “speak her truth” about the alleged cheating scandal that involved her husband, Lachie and her best friend, Tess Crosley, 30.
In the podcast, Jules alleged Crosley and Lachie had an ongoing romantic affair for four months.
While Jules ultimately called time on the marriage in December, she made it clear the cracks had started much earlier.
“It wasn’t the first time for us, which is awful,” she claimed in the interview with Petropoulos.
The mother-of-two explained while it would appear to many that she “packed up and left with the kids” when Lachie confirmed their separation in January 2026, that wasn’t the case.

Just hours after Jules’ podcast went live, a teaser for Tess’ own tell-all podcast with the Daily Mail went live, with her sharing her side of the story for the first time.
Tess chose to keep the details of her side relatively brief during the one-hour interview, but reflected on the moment the private matter became a national story, describing it as a “really dark time in my life”.
Tess did not confirm this nor reveal any details about the exact nature of her relationship with Lachie, but she did claim she was only friends with the couple for about a year before the scandal unfolded.
After Jules and Lachie’s split was made public, she moved back to Perth with their children while he remained in Brisbane where he was playing AFL.
