Aston Martin will race with a one-off livery at the United States Grand Prix to celebrate five years of partnership with Cognizant, the team has announced.

The design marks a relationship that began in 2021, when Cognizant joined Aston Martin as the marque returned to the F1 grid.

The livery will take to the race track at the Circuit of the Americas this weekend, and will celebrate the partnership between the two outfits across the last handful of years.

Aston Martin sit bottom of the constructors’ standings with just seven points after 17 rounds, well adrift of the midfield battle.

The campaign has been complicated by well-documented Honda power unit deficiencies, including early-season vibration issues that risked driver nerve injury and left the team with substantial straight-line deficits compared to its rivals.

Aston Martin is not the only team marking Austin with fresh colours. Haas has revealed a Godzilla-themed livery in collaboration with TOHO, Cadillac has unveiled a Texas-inspired design on its MAC-26, and Mercedes has shown off a MANUFAKTUR-branded look for its W17.

Ferrari is also expected to reveal a special design for the weekend.

“Cognizant has been part of our journey since Aston Martin returned to Formula One in 2021, and we’re incredibly proud to celebrate five years of partnership together,” said team owner Lawrence Stroll.

“A great partnership is one that continues to evolve. Over the past five years, both our organisations have changed considerably, but our shared ambition and desire to keep pushing forward have remained constant.”

“The special livery in Austin is our way of celebrating that journey. It’s a visible thank you to Cognizant and its people for five years of partnership, while looking ahead to an exciting next chapter together.”
