The Jonas Brothers officially began their 20th anniversary tour, JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown, on August 10, and it’s already been historic. Before the tour kicked off, founding member and forever heartthrob Joe Jonas told People it would be different from any of their previous tours.

“I think what fans can expect is that we are going to do what we can to give them the best show they can possibly enjoy every night,” he told the outlet. “Really have a fun time on the road, enjoy the fact that we get to do this after all these years, and just try to bring something different.”

In just 15 days of touring, the brothers have already lived up to their promise. Since they kicked off in their Jersey hometown, the show has brought out a bevy of guests fans never expected to see on stage. At their most recent stop in Boston, the brothers surprised fans with an appearance by Dashboard Confessional’s Chris Carrabba, singing their hit song Vindicated from the 2004 Spider-Man 2 movie.

Carrabba also reportedly performed “Take a Breath” as well. Fans went ballistic seeing Carrabba on stage, and online, fans seethed with envy.

“I’m experiencing heartbreak from my bed right now,” confessed one fan.

“This must’ve been an absolutely insane night,” exclaimed another.

“OMG I’ve seen Dashboard Confessional 12 times and yet I’m still crying and jealous I missed this,” said another.

The wildest part is that wasn’t the only surprise of the evening.

Jonas Brothers Have Three Special Guests at Boston Show on August 23rd

Carrabba was not the only guest appearance who blew audiences away. Early ’00s pop icon JoJo was brought out to sing on the brothers’ jam “Vacation Eyes” as well as her breakout hit “Leave (Get Out).” The Jonas Brothers also brought out Jesse McCartney, whom they opened for over 20 years ago at the beginning of their career. McCartney performed both his hit “Beautiful Soul” and a medley of “Leavin’.”

In the crowd, fans spotted Anyone But You actor Glenn Powell having a blast. Plus, the Boston crowd was treated to Kevin Jonas’ new song, sung solo for the first time, according to People.

Who Else Made a Guest Appearance at the Jonas Brothers’ Show?

So far, the brothers have brought out some incredible acts during their show, according to Us Weekly. Switchfoot made an appearance to perform “Meant to Live” off their 2003 album. Dean Lewis, who appeared on their latest album, was there, and of course Demi Lovato joined Joe Jonas for a duet of their Camp Rock song “Gotta Find You.” Other acts included The Click Five, Hanson, All Time Low, Hoobastank, Cartel, Alessia Cara, and JP Saxe.

They even brought out the Jonas Family Band, which included both of their parents, their brother Franklin Jonas, and Kevin’s wife Danielle and their daughters joined in too.

The tour runs until November, so we’re sure the list will grow and become even more impressive in the days to come.
