Jules Neale and Lachie Neale appear to have sat on a tattooist bed around the same time with both showing off new ink in recent days.

The star footballer on Tuesday showed off his plans to add to his Brisbane Lions tattoo just weeks after leaving the club to join Collingwood.

Within 24 hours of that post, Jules shared images of a new tattoo she has had slapped on her left bicep.

A video shared by the 36-year-old hair stylist showed she and her brother got matching rose tattoos at Myca Ink in Perth.

The mum-of-two said the tattoo symbolised “growing through life together”.

“Cool, now I want ten more,” she wrote as the caption for her clip on Instagram.

Hew new look has got tongues wagging. Her most recent body work was to have her “L” tattoo removed earlier this year following the couple’s split.

The three-time premiership winner, meanwhile, did not have to add any explanation for his new body art.

The two-time Brownlow Medal winner this week showed off his journey to Brisbane’s Ten Ten Tattoo Studio.

Despite leaving the Lions, he clearly remains incredibly proud of his time with the club — as is shown in recent posts by the studio.

The venue shared a picture of Neale’s right leg which has a Lions emblem and “2024” on it, with tattoo artist Ryan Sharp measuring up stencils to add “2025” and “2026” to it.

On the same stencils were a set of artistic designs of the letter “F” which could be another tattoo Neale plans to get in honour of his son Freddie.

Lachie Neale drops in for new ink

It is unclear whether the tattoos have yet been inked onto Neale’s leg.

However, it would appear the procedures have been carried out given Sharp posted a video with Neale as the pair held up a Lions jersey, along with the caption: “Some tatties on Lachie today.”

The well-publicised break-up came amid accusations of Neale cheating.

Jules claims he had affairs with at least two women — one of whom was her former friend Tess Crosley.

Jules has since flown back to Western Australia with their son, Freddie, and daughter, Piper.

Neale has moved on and gone public with new girlfriend Emma Field — who was pictured with him after the Lions’ Grand Final victory.

His decision to join the Pies in Melbourne comes despite a similar deal being offered by the West Coast Eagles.
