My question is this: do you really believe Cole Caufield was right to call out Arber Xhekaj for his unsportsmanlike-conduct penalty after Tuesday night’s 4-3 overtime loss to the San Jose Sharks?
I really don’t believe in teammates publicly calling one another out. There was a lot of blame to go around for that loss beyond Xhekaj and Jakub Dobes. Jake Evans, who has yet to register a point, makes a brain-dead, cross-ice pass, Lane Hutson makes a brutal turnover at the opposition blue line and the team goes 1-for-3 on the penalty-kill.
