The West Coast Eagles will challenge defender Liam Baker’s one-game sanction at the AFL Tribunal.

Baker was cited for Rough Conduct on Sydney’s Chad Warner, the incident taking place in the second quarter from Saturday nights clash at Optus Stadium and was graded Careless Conduct, Medium Impact and High Contact, with no option for an early plea.

Fellow defender Reuben Ginbey was also cited for Rough Conduct on Sydney’s Hayden McLean, and offered a $2,500 financial sanction, downgraded to $1,500 with an early plea.

The West Coast Eagles are accepting the charge for Reuben Ginbey.Â
