New:

Australian Ninja Warrior
A new era, a brand-new course and a new generation of Ninjas, hosted by Robert Irwin, Georgie Tunny, and Beau Ryan, Australian Ninja Warrior will showcase competitors pushing themselves to their limits and attempting mind-blowing feats of athleticism. Robert Irwin said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Australian Ninja Warrior as host, and usher in a new age for this legendary show. I grew up as a fan of Ninja Warrior as it celebrates courage, determination and people who push their limits to discover what they’re truly capable of. This new era of Ninja will bring everything we love about the show to a whole new level. The competition is fierce, and I can’t wait to take viewers right into the heart of the action and share the experience with them.”

Tamara Simoneau: “You have probably read the articles about Ninja inspiring a new event for the LA Olympics. So that sort of brings Ninja back to the forefront of people’s minds, and it definitely will keep growing as we get closer to that in 28. Robert grew up watching the show. He loves the show. He said publicly before that he will only consider shows that he thinks are feel good and fit with his values…. So, when we weren’t doing I’m a Celebrity anymore, this was a natural fit for him. It’s a great trio with Beau and Georgie. We think they’ll bring so much fresh energy to the show.”

Aussie Auctions
There is nothing quite as intense as a property auction and Aussies are obsessed with the high-heartrate-stakes of these real estate rollercoaster rides. When it comes to homes under the hammer, this brand-new format gives viewers a front-row seat to the most intense action with Aussie Auctions. From the producers of Grand Designs Australia and Luxe Listings Sydney, Aussie Auctions will showcase the real stories of homes up for auction, following the nail-biting journey of hopeful buyers, the homeowners looking to sell big and the experts putting homes under the hammer.

TS: “Auctions are a fairly unique way of selling real estate in Australia. They don’t do it everywhere in the world, so we thought we would jump in on something that’s already a national obsession, at a time when the market is in a state of flux and is doing things that it hasn’t done in a long time.”

Extraordinary Homes Australia
Hosted by Wendy Moore, interior designer and host of Selling Houses Australia, witness some of the country’s most inspiring houses, taking inspiration from the landscape that surrounds them. From sprawling coastal havens to the cliffs and bush, to tiny, off-grid homes optimised for the future, journey across Australia to discover the nation’s most extraordinary homes. Host Wendy Moore said: “I love the stories behind homes, the people, the planning, the mistakes and the memories. Being invited beyond the front doors of some of Australia’s most extraordinary homes and meeting the people who dreamt them, built them and love them, has been a dream. Every home we visited is incredible in its own way, I fell in love with each of them, and I can’t wait for viewers to see them on 10.”

TS: “We’re delighted to have Wendy Moore joining our stable for this show. She’s really passionate about homes, it’s her been whole career. She will take Australians inside some of the most extraordinary homes in the country, from coast to coast. They’re already in production.”

Dogs at Work
Voiced by Melanie Zanetti, the iconic voice behind Bluey’s mum Chilli, welcome to the world of dogs with jobs! Dogs At Work follows a diverse cast of working dogs and their handlers. These aren’t your typical professional pups; there are truffle hunters, mighty seagull chasers protecting your bowl of chips, dogs that hunt invasive species of flora and fauna, and those that protect our borders from fruit being illegally brought into the state. See what a day on the job looks like for these paw-some employees. Sidney, the professional seagull dog chaser, barked: “Guess who’s coming to your TV next year? Me! I’m here to protect your chips, sandwiches and snags from those sneaky sky bandits. With a nose for trouble and a bark for every bird, I’m on lunch-saving duty! Seagulls beware; there’s a new dog on patrol!”

TS: “There’s a dog who a therapy dog, a dog on the border sniffing out fruit that people might be bringing over the border …things that we know dogs do, but also some jobs that we don’t realise they do. We love our dog shows.”

The Animal Sanctuary
The Animal Sanctuary follows Tasmania’s Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary on a mission to give Australia’s most vulnerable animals a second chance.

TS: “We’re saving it for next year. I’m not sure exactly where it’s going to sit in the year, but it is a beautiful little show. I’ve seen quite a few episodes. It’s one of those shows that is feelgood and reminds you that there are so many good people in the world.”

The Falconio Witness / The Hunt for Hamish
With over 30 years of experience as a journalist, Denham Hitchcock and his team bring us two documentary specials: The Falconio Witness and The Hunt for Hamish. Twenty-five years after Peter Falconio’s murder in the outback, Denham puts one of Australia’s most notorious crimes under the microscope. In The Falconio Witness we hear conflicting evidence from the original investigators who have remained quiet for 25 years and for the first time ever, hear the chilling account of a witness at the scene who says he watched it all unfold. In The Hunt for Hamish, Denham investigates serial conman Hamish McLaren. After serving nine years in prison, Hamish is back out in the real world, and on the dating apps. But is he up to his old tricks once again? Investigative journalist Denham Hitchcock said: “When it comes to history, every lie is a crack in the foundation we all stand on. And both of these documentaries challenge what we’ve thought for so long to be the truth.”

Returning:

Junior MasterChef
Get ready, Australia; Junior MasterChef Australia is back on the menu. Returning to 10 in 2027, the much-loved series will see Poh Ling Yeow joined by special guest Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, as they help guide the next generation of young culinary talent. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, said: “I had an incredible time with the whole team at MasterChef this past April, so when they approached me to come back and work with this young group of talent, it was an easy yes. I love cooking with my own kids, so seeing what these young stars create in the kitchen is going to be a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see what they cook up!” Poh Ling Yeow said: “I’m thrilled to bits that Junior MasterChef is returning to our screens. People often ask me whether it might come back, so I know the news will be met with plenty of excitement. “I had a lovely time filming with Meghan earlier this year, and being reunited will be a real treat. I can’t wait to meet our pint-sized culinary adventurers – I’m expecting plenty of delicious surprises and a little mischief, too.” Casting is now open for Junior MasterChef Australia. So, if you are or know a Junior MasterChef with big kitchen dreams, apply here.

TS:  MasterChef had a really strong year, and it just proved to us again that it’s so loved in hard times. We’re going into our 19th year, and we’ve done obviously Junior MasterChef before. It’s just such a good wholesome show. So it felt like the stars were aligning when Meghan was interested in coming back, and made it a no-brainer…. yes they will co-host.

Australian Survivor: Rivals
In a global-first theme, two evenly matched tribes go head-to-head in a brand-new location: Malaysia. Join host David Genat as we see the ultimate clash of sporting heroes, TV stars and everyday Aussies. Familiar faces like Robbie Farah, Adam Ashley-Cooper, Bernard Curry, Lincoln Lewis, Mitch Churi, and Alisa and Lysandra Fraser are just some of the castaways looking to go all the way. They may arrive as equals, but there can only be one Sole Survivor. Australian Survivor: Rivals will premiere Monday, 11 January on 10. Host David Genat said: “We’ve taken sporting heroes, superfans, famous faces and everyday Aussies to a new location in the brutal but beautiful Malaysia, that will push them to their limits and against their ultimate rival. Intense and surprising, Australian Survivor: Rivals is truly a season not to miss!”

TS: “It’s going early. It’s kicking off summer for us. With that theme of Rivals and the cast that we’ve assembled, I think it’s the perfect things to kick off our blockbuster year. We’re moving to Malaysia, as you know. It’s going to have incredible visuals, an amazing new location, and it feels very summer.”

MasterChef Australia
MasterChef Australia judges Andy Allen, Poh Ling Yeow, Jean-Christophe Novelli and Sofia Levin return with a Mystery Box full of surprises, and for one hopeful, the chance to be crowned the next MasterChef Australia!
Looking ahead to the next season, judge Andy Allen said: “Every year I think we’ve seen it all in the MasterChef kitchen and every year I’m blown away by what our contestants bring to the table. The creativity, the passion and the sheer determination to succeed never cease to amaze me. There’s nothing better than watching talented home cooks grow in confidence and discover what they’re capable of. I can’t wait to see what 2027 serves up!”

The Traitors Australia
After a record-breaking third season, host Gretel Killeen opens her manor to everyday Aussies ready to deceive, banish, and murder their way to a huge cash prize. Preparing to welcome another group of unsuspecting players into her manor, Gretel Killeen teased: “I’m totally tickled pink at the thought of everyday Australians coming to play in my manor. I love common people. I may even have married a couple in the past (though, to be fair, that would have been by accident). Butty and I have even talked about redecorating the manor in preparation, so I’ve asked the local mortician for some ideas. And in the meantime, I’ve already made a start on our wardrobe by purchasing two matching pairs of thongs.”

TS: “Nothing is taken too seriously, which is good, light-hearted. But then you get those really great moments that come out of it. I mean, there were tears last season, weren’t there?”

Shaun Micallef’s Parents’ Evening
Shaun and his son Gabe host the cross-generational game show where well-known Aussies team up with a parent or child. Gearing up for another season, host Shaun Micallef said: “We took Parents’ Evening out for a run around the block in 2026, and nothing fell off. We’re looking forward to entering it in the Formula 1 competition that is the 2027 programming year. Gabe and I are proud to be driving for the Channel 10 team and will do our best not to sideswipe Sam Pang Tonight or run Big Brother off the road and into a barrier.”

TS: “We had absolutely no trouble getting amazing guests on that show, and there’s lots more to come… some really great trios and their loved ones joining us.”

Have You Been Paying Attention?
Tom Gleisner, Ed Kavalee and Gold Logie winner Sam Pang are back to quiz the week that was. Tom Gleisner said: “We are so excited to be returning in 2027 for what I believe will be our 15th series. That makes us one of the 10 Network’s longest-running shows, behind Neighbours (now axed) and Mass For You At Home (now re-booted as Priests Behaving Badly).”

The Cheap Seats
Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald prove the view is always best from the cheap seats. Melanie Bracewell said: “Every year we wait anxiously for the ‘we’ve decided to replace you with AI’ email. Thrilled to confirm 2027 is not that year! So excited to return to The Cheap Seats for 2027! Tell your friends! Unless they work for the ATO. I said I came to Australia for a holiday.” Tim McDonald said: “Thrilled to come back for another year! I knew as soon as I got the email – ‘Your Love Island application has been unsuccessful’. 2027 will be a massive year of news – the Women’s World Cup, the Ashes and the French Presidential Election. I can’t wait for the traditional democracy croquembouche.”

TS: “It’s got such a cult following. It’s such a solid performer, and it’s a really great lineup of our week to have Monday for HYBPA? Tuesday for The Cheap Seats, and get the week going with some laughs.”

Millionaire Hot Seat
Rebecca Gibney returns with life-changing money up for grabs. Rebecca Gibney shared: “There’s something incredibly special about watching everyday Australians take a chance at winning some serious money. The nerves, the excitement and the unexpected moments (and that’s just me!) all make for nail-biting television. You never quite know what’s going to happen next! I feel privileged being part of it and I can’t wait to welcome more contestants into the Hot Seat in 2027. This could be the year the million is given away! Come and get it Australia!”

Deal Or No Deal
Grant Denyer is back with the briefcases, the Banker and massive cash prizes. Host Grant Denyer said: “I love this show because absolutely anything can happen! One minute you’re celebrating a massive win, the next you’re screaming at someone not to take the Banker’s offer. It’s unpredictable, it’s outrageous and we’re coming back for more in 2027!”

TS: “Deal’s doing brilliant work for us in the early evening…. we really look at them as a pair. Deal and and Hot Seat have lifted that timeslot significantly. So we’re happy with them where they are.”

Taskmaster Australia
In season six, Charlie Pickering, Frankie McNair, Shane Jacobson, Tom Walker and Urzila Carlson take on Tom Gleeson and ‘Lesser Tom’ Cashman. On the joys of making his fellow comedians suffer, Tom Gleeson declared: “Part of my job as the Taskmaster is that I have to pay out the contestants. The contestants are comedians, so often they are good friends of mine. Therefore, I have to pay out my friends. BEST JOB EVER!”

Big Brother
Now in Bris-Vegas, with bigger twists, live nominations, live evictions and 24/7 access that puts the power in viewers’ hands. With the doors to the Big Brother house officially open, host Mel Tracina teased: “Big Brother has swapped the Gold Coast for the bright lights of Bris-Vegas, and we’ve hit the jackpot with our housemates already. There’s even more drama than last year’s washer and dryer, and we’re just getting started! The house is open, the season is longer, the crowds are bigger and audiences have more power than ever before. Big Brother is always watching, and so is the nation.”

TS: “Going into 27 is part of the plan.”

Sam Pang Tonight
The Gold Logie winner has recently returned for season three, with more celebrity interviews, sketches and the Wheel Of Segments. Sam Pang stated: “I’m thrilled to be back for season three of Sam Pang Tonight. The network wanted to replace me, but the name of the show got in the way.
