Known as SHIFT Nation, the new national series will host five events – four festivals and one race meeting.
The festivals will be held over two- and three-day formats, with one day at each dedicated to night action.
The series will then host a dedicated SHIFT Nation Race event in November out of Victoria, with the venue and dates still to be confirmed.
SHIFT Nation’s goal is to bring together traditional motorsport and automotive culture.
Festivals will feature on-track action comprising circuit racing, time attack, drifting, and roll racing.
Off-track, the festival feel comes to life with car club displays, live music, kids and family entertainment, sim racing competitions, and more.
The brainchild of Australian Endurance Championship racer Steve Jukes and business partner Ben Alexander, the duo hope that the fun nature of the events helps connect people from all corners of the automotive world.
“We’ve been watching how motorsport is changing, nationally and internationally, as it reaches a wider audience who simply want to be entertained,” said Jukes.
“We’re responding with a fun, sustainable, all-ages national event that welcomes everyone, including competitors and spectators alike, regardless of their motoring background.”
Alexander added that a key focus is connecting people with “a shared love of all things automotive.”
“SHIFT Nation celebrates that culture in every form, from cars to bikes and drift to endurance, bringing the whole community together in one place,” Alexander said.
Four festivals will run across four states, commencing in February at The Bend Motorsport Park before heading to Calder Park in Victoria, Queensland Raceway, and Sydney Motorsport Park.
The Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA) will provide sanctioning and insurance.
Contending motorsport categories, festival programs and partners will be revealed in the lead up to the opening round at The Bend.
