MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Even with the Games 3, 4 and 5 being held in Florida, fans of the Milwaukee Brewers aren’t letting that stop them from seeing the Brew Crew in the World Series.
For one fan in Sun Prairie, getting to see the Brewers in the World Series completes a goal.
Mike Peterson has made it his mission to visit every single MLB stadium.
The journey started in 2011 and has now been completed with a stop in St. Petersburg at Tropicana Field.
Peterson has been a Brewers fan since he was really young, and now he’s seeing a years-long dream be fulfilled as their trip to the Sunshine State perfectly aligns with the final stadium on his list.
“I know a lot of people are trying to see all 30 stadiums, I can’t imagine many if any have had the chance to see their team in the World Series for their last stadium,” Peterson said. “The circumstances are just, its 100% fate.”
Milwaukee currently holds a 3-1 lead over the Tampa Bay Rays heading into Game 5 on Wednesday.
