We all have that photo. The sunset that looked like a painting, right up until you checked your phone. The concert where your idol shrank to a tiny dot on stage. The city at night that came out murky and grainy.

Oppo wants to retire that feeling for good. The new Oppo Find X10 Series has just landed in Australia, and it’s built around one idea: everyday moments should look the way you remember them. Whether you’re a creator, a travel lover or a mum documenting every milestone, it’s designed to help you capture them properly.

Three 200MP cameras, one beautiful result

Here’s the headline. The Find X10 Pro Max is the first phone to put a 200MP sensor in all three rear cameras (ultra-wide, main and telephoto), while the standard Find X10 carries a dual 200MP system. Both are co-developed with Hasselblad, the storied camera house famous for its colour science.

So what does that mean in real life?

Moody lighting, minus the murk. The Pro Max’s ultra-wide sensor captures twice as much light as the previous generation, and the telephoto’s bright f/2.1 aperture keeps shots cleaner when the lights go down.

Detail without the storage panic. Photos are captured at 26MP by default from ultra-wide through to 9.9x zoom, which is far more detail than standard 12MP without giant files swallowing your phone. For something truly special, Hi-Res Mode unlocks 50MP or 200MP.

The little things, up close. The telephoto focuses as close as 10cm, so it doubles as a telemacro camera for flowers, brunch plates and those finishing touches.

Tricky light, handled. Backlit portraits, glowing neon signs and fireworks are where phones usually stumble. The Pro Max’s main camera supports up to 17 stops of dynamic range, so you keep detail in both the brights and the shadows.

For the creators (and the memory keepers)

Whether you’re growing a following or filming your kid’s first day of school, the video upgrades are worth a closer look.

Shoot 4K at 120fps for silky slow motion, or 8K at 30fps for ultra-sharp footage. The Pro Max does it on all three rear cameras, and the Find X10 does it on its two 200MP cameras.

Open Gate Capture, a first for an Oppo phone, records the full area of the sensor. That means you can reframe the same clip for a Reel, a YouTube video or a widescreen edit without reshooting.

For the pros, there’s Dolby Vision and O-Log2, plus a collaboration with Blackmagic Design so key features work inside the Blackmagic Camera app.

Go further with the Hasselblad Teleconverter

For zoom lovers, a clip-on Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit adds 3.28x optical magnification to the telephoto camera. Think concerts, city skylines, kids’ sport from the sideline and wildlife. It’s valued at $799, and it’s included in the launch gift bundles.

Oppo has taken cues from classic camera design. Sculpted one-piece glass flows into the camera module, and the Pro Max in Luna White nods to vintage cameras with a matte silver camera island, knurled detailing and Hasselblad’s signature orange accent ring. It’s a phone that looks right at home on your café table.

The screens are just as easy on the eye:

Both phones carry a 7,150mAh silicon-carbon battery, which Oppo says delivers up to two days of typical use. When you do need a top-up, there’s 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Under the hood, the Find X10 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M and the Pro Max on the 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro, with ColorOS 17 on top.
