American actor, singer, and comedian Jamie Foxx is currently down under for the Melbourne Cup, where he revealed his secret surprise for his girlfriend.
Jamie Foxx, 58, and Alyce Huckstepp, 30, were first spotted together in August 2023 and have recently welcomed their first child together, despite a brief split in January 2025.
This is Foxx’s third child, who shares two daughters, Corinne, 32, and Anelise, 18, with exes Connie Kline and Kristin Grannis.
Inside the Don Julio Hacienda marquee at Flemington’s Birdcage precinct, Foxx gushed over Huckstepp, who hails from Queensland and revealed a secret surprise to the Daily Mail.
“All I can tell you is that my girl is from Australia, and I’m bringing her whole family here as a surprise,” he said.
Foxx, who has never been married, added: “That’s my girl. I’m a romantic.”
The Oscar winner, who is currently filming Deadlocked in Melbourne, revealed his intention to move to Australia on a more permanent basis.
“Of course. I’m moving. I’m a find a place.”
Foxx gushed about becoming a father for the third time, saying he feels great as a dad and feels young.
“Life is to be lived, enjoyed, and pass joy onto everybody else,” the actor said.
Fox also admitted he thinks Aussie girls do it better, adding: “Yes, yes, Aussie girls are the best.”
In August, he joked with E! News about “being on the fence” about welcoming a baby at 58.
“But then I ran into Al Pacino a few months ago. I said, ‘Al, you gonna be back in the drop off line?’ I said, ‘Aw man, shoot I’m good.'”
It comes as Foxx recently made headlines for paying for local Melbourne resident’s dinner bills, reportedly at the Maison Bâtard.
