Le Brocq was scrubbed from the Practice 1 result after Matt Stone Racing had fitted the wrong drop gear ratio to his Chevrolet Camaro.

The driver finish 15th in the session but was always destined for a DSQ following the mistake.

Allen meanwhile was found to have breached the minimum tyre pressure regulations during Practice 2.

A stewards’ summary revealed the infringement on the right-rear of the Grove Racing Mustang and subsequent disqualification.

“The Competitor’s Authorised Representative did not dispute that the tyre was below the minimum pressure and explained that it was an unintentional breach caused by an error by the team,” read the stewards’ summary.

Allen had sensationally escaped punishment for a tyre pressure breach during the Sunday race in Perth earlier this year.

Supercars was so incensed by the verdict on that occasion that it appealed the decision – a case it ultimately lost.

Allen had been 13th in Practice 2, which was topped by teammate Matt Payne.
