DENTON – UNT has announced the live music lineup for the 2025 edition of Mean Green Live, the pregame concert series held in the fan zone outside DATCU Stadium before each Mean Green home football game.

The popular gameday tradition will once again bring local and regional talent to the stage, creating an energetic atmosphere each Saturday at DATCU Stadium. Concerts begin two hours prior to kickoff and are free for all fans with a game ticket.

This year’s lineup features a variety of acts spanning multiple genres:
August 30 vs. Lamar – Extended Play
September 13 vs. Washington State – UNT College of Music Special Guests
September 27 vs. South Alabama – Sunday Wreckers
October 10 vs. USF – Cameron Hobbs
October 28 vs. UTSA – Big City Outlaw
November 1 vs. Navy – The Uppercuts
November 22 vs. Temple – Dallas DJ Karaokes

Mean Green Live has become a highlight of the UNT gameday experience, giving fans an opportunity to gather, enjoy live entertainment, and build excitement before heading into DATCU Stadium.

Fans attending Mean Green Live can also enjoy food from various food trucks including Munchies, La Fondita, Groovy Chicken and Waffles, Dad Jokes Cheesy Burgers and more. In addition, the UNT Kids Zone will once again be active with inflatables, a face painter, a video game truck and more.

Fans are also encouraged to greet the football team for the Mean Green March upon team arrival 2 hours and 45 minutes prior to kickoff.Â
