Social media is rife with speculation that President Donald Trump’s recent hand injury could affect his golf game. Viral photos of the 79-year -old have raised eyebrows and concerns.
Over the weekend, images surfaced online showing what appeared to be makeup covering his right hand, leading many to believe he was trying to hide bruises or discoloration.
The issue first came to light in February this year, but new photos have reignited worries about Trump’s health. On Friday, as he stepped out of the White House, it seemed like he was using concealer to mask the recurring problem. In July, the White House addressed the bruising on Trump’s hand. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt explained that it was due to frequent handshakes.

“Recent photos of the president have shown minor bruising on the back of his hand. This is consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking… The president remains in excellent health,” the White House stated.
Trump has since been diagnosed with a vein condition, sparking “growing” concern among golf enthusiasts about his future on the greens, a hobby he balances with his presidential responsibilities.
It comes after Trump confirmed his plans to attend this year’s Ryder Cup, backing Keegan Bradley to name himself as a playing captain for the tournament.
Trump, known for his love of golf, usually manages to squeeze in one or two rounds each weekend. However, how he plans to continue doing so in light of his hand condition is yet to be seen.
Despite his apparent health concerns, those who have seen him on the golf course are amazed by his skills. Trump himself often brags about his current records.
Recent stats reveal that Trump has spent roughly 20% of his presidency playing golf since he returned to office on January 20, showcasing his enduring passion for the sport.

However, this has sparked worry among Americans and severe criticism for the president, with many questioning his focus while in office.
Just last month, American taxpayers were not shy about expressing their annoyance when they found out they’d be shelling out $600,000 to provide Secret Service agents with golf carts and portable restrooms at his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey.
According to a HuffPost analysis, Trump’s recent trip to Scotland, specifically Turnberry and his other 18-hole course in Aberdeen, is expected to cost around $9.7 million.
While Trump – who reportedly has an unbelievable 2.8 handicap with the USGA – may have an unusual swing, it’s one that’s dependable and yields consistent results. However, his recurring hand injury could now affect this.
