Nike Basketball has officially welcomed Caitlin Clark as its newest signature athlete, strengthening its partnership with one of the most influential and widely followed players in the game today. Clark, whose electrifying play and cultural impact have drawn millions of fans, now joins Nike’s elite roster of signature athletes, a group that has historically included basketball’s greatest icons.
With her signature logo debuting alongside the announcement, Nike and Clark are setting the stage for a new era of women’s basketball representation. The mark — two interlocking “C’s” with a smaller hidden “C” — was designed in collaboration with Nike’s creative team to reflect Clark’s precision, confidence, and connection with fans.
Clark played an active role throughout the design process, ensuring the logo felt timeless yet personal. “Nike’s signature roster features all-time greats, and I am incredibly proud to join some of the best athletes in the world,” said Clark. “I’m excited to share a first look at what we’ve started to create together.”
The logo will first appear in a new lifestyle and performance apparel line, including T-shirts, hoodies, shorts, and pants designed for athletes of all ages. The first pieces — including a navy and yellow logo tee — will drop September 1 on nike.com in North America, with the full collection launching October 1. Clark’s first signature shoe and full apparel line are slated for release in 2026.
For Clark, the milestone goes beyond merchandise. “To me, this is more than just a logo, it’s a dream come true. People always talk about leaving your mark on the game — and this is another way I can do that,” she said.
Nike executives echoed that sentiment, pointing to Clark’s unique ability to inspire. “At Nike, we’ve always drawn inspiration not only from the world’s greatest athletes but also from those who elevate the spirit of sport itself,” said Ann Miller, EVP, Nike Global Sports Marketing. “Caitlin exemplifies both: an exceptional basketball player and an outstanding ambassador for the game.”
Clark, a Nike athlete since 2022, now becomes one of the few women with a signature line at the brand — a move that reinforces Nike’s leadership in supporting active WNBA athletes and shaping the future of women’s basketball. The collaboration reflects a shared mission: to fuel hoops culture, inspire young players, and expand opportunities for women and girls in sport.
By combining Clark’s star power with Nike’s design expertise, the partnership highlights a historic moment for women’s basketball, ensuring that the next generation of players can see themselves not just in the game — but at the very forefront of it.
