Brisbane veteran Adam Reynolds is pushing to make an early return from a hamstring injury as the Broncos chase a top-four spot.
Reynolds’ potential comeback comes on a weekend with multiple changes across the board, with some players back on deck while others are taking a chance to freshen up before the finals.

Bulldogs: Viliame Kikau has been ruled out after being sent to hospital with a skin infection, with Josh Curran coming into the starting side. Daniel Suluka-Fifita is also set to come into the team after Harry Hayes suffered a hamstring injury. No changes in Wednesday’s 24-hour update with Enari Tuala the 18th man.
Panthers: Mass changes for the Panthers, with Ivan Cleary opting to rest 16 players for Thursday’s match. Back-rower Zac Lipowicz, centres Sione Fonua and David Fale and bench forward Billy Phillips make their NRL debuts. Riley Price, the son of former Bulldogs legend Steve Price, will play his first game for Penrith, while Jack Cole and Brad Schneider will combine in the halves. No changes in Wednesday’s 24-hour update.

Warriors: Tanner Stowers-Smith has been named on the bench, but could come into the starting side on gameday, as was the case last week. If that happens, Demitric Vaimauga will likely revert to the interchange.
Eels: Josh Addo-Carr is set to play his 200th NRL game as he continues his quest for a Kangaroos recall for the upcoming Ashes series. Sean Russell has been listed at 18th man as he looks to return from a hand injury suffered in Round 22.

Storm: Will Warbrick is pushing to return to the side after making a successful return from concussion in Queensland Cup last week. The outside back remains in the reserves but could come into a heavily rejigged Storm side. Nelson Asofa-Solomona is on track to return to the team, with Tui Kamikamica (concussion) ruled out, Harry Grant suspended and four players rested. Xavier Coates, Nick Meaney, Eli Katoa and Josh King have all been handed a chance to freshen up. Shawn Blore is on track to return from an ankle injury, while Bronson Garlick is set to start at hooker.
Roosters: Hugo Savala will wear the No.7 jumper after Sam Walker (concussion) was ruled out, with Sandon Smith stepping in as five-eighth. Daniel Tupou is on track to return from a concussion that kept him out of last week’s loss to Parramatta. The Roosters need a win as they look to hold on to eighth place on the ladder.

Raiders: Savelio Tamale is set to return from a dislocated knee-cap and will replace Xavier Savage on the wing. Savage’s season is over after he fractured his shoulder in last week’s dramatic win over Penrith. Matty Nicholson will have to wait another week for his NRL return after coming back from injury in NSW Cup last week.
Wests Tigers: Starford To’a is set to return to the field after he was a late withdrawal last week with a shoulder injury. Adam Doueihi has been ruled out with a facial fracture, which will see Latu Fainu start at halfback and Heath Mason join the bench. The Tigers remain a mathematical chance of playing finals football and need a big win over the competition leaders to keep the dream alive.

Dragons: Jaydn Su’A (knee), Jack de Belin (concussion) and Hame Sele (concussion) are all on track to return for the Dragons in a major boost for Shane Flanagan’s side. Tyrell Sloan is also set to come back into the starting team, with Corey Allan dropping out.
Sea Eagles: Young gun Joey Walsh has been named 18th man for the second-straight week and coach Anthony Seibold has suggested we will see the promising playmaker before the season comes to a close. No other changes for Manly as they battle to keep their finals hopes alive.

Cowboys: North Queensland are a settled squad after winning two games on the trot, with the Cowboys set to roll out the same 17 that beat the Tigers last week. Jordan McLean will line up at prop for the final game of his NRL career after announcing his retirement on Wednesday.
Broncos: Adam Reynolds is pushing to return from a hamstring injury suffered in Round 23. The veteran was initially ruled out for four weeks but will have missed just two games if he returns on Sunday. Billy Walters will likely shift to hooker if Reynolds returns, with Ben Hunt the five-eighth. Brendan Piakura is also on track to return from a concussion and has been named on the bench.

Sharks: A big boost with KL Iro set to return 12 weeks after injuring his pectoral. The centre’s return will see Sifa Talakai shift to the interchange. Emerging forward Jesse Colquhoun will start at lock as the Sharks navigate the loss of Cam McInnes to an ACL injury. Blayke Brailey will take over the captaincy duties as he prepares to go head-to-head with his brother Jayden.
Knights: Greg Marzhew has been named 18th man as he looks to return from a back injury that saw him withdrawn from the squad last weekend. No other changes for Newcastle as they look to finish a tough season on a high.

Dolphins: Kodi Nikorima is set to return from illness for a Dolphins side desperate to keep their finals hopes alive. Kristian Woolf’s men have lost three in a row to fall out of the eight and need a win to stay in touch with the Roosters. Kulikefu Finefeuiaki has been ruled out with an ankle injury, with Connelly Lemuelu to start in the back-row. Nikorima’s return will see Jake Averillo move back to the centres.
Titans: Former Wallaby Carter Gordon is pushing to make his NRL debut and has been named in the extended squad after overcoming a serious back injury. The league convert made a successful return from the injury in Queensland Cup and outgoing coach Des Hasler could opt to blood the exciting attacking talent before the end of the season.
