But as George gives Jenny the brush off, will he regret not listening to her warnings?

Despite Jenny making her apology, it’s Christina who George turns to after receiving a message from his ex, Eileen Grimshaw.
The pair head for a drink and when Jenny tries to join them, George barely notices her as Christina laughs at his jokes.
But Jenny’s not the only one warning George about Christina, as his sister Glenda advises him to tread carefully. She also reveals Jenny’s crush on him, but George is amused rather than intrigued by this romantic interest.
Later, after the funeral for Christina’s boyfriend Dom which George arranged, the undertaker takes her for a drink and admits he has feelings for her, a sentiment she shares back. But later, Christina’s card is declined and she bursts into tears.

“This is a big red flag with Christina’s scheming history,” our source adds.
“But George may be too smitten to spot it. Knowing gentleman George, he’s bound to offer to put his hand in his pocket. Is this the beginning of a rinsing operation by Christina, or are we misjudging her?”
Amy Robbins has reprised her role as Christina following her dramatic departure earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Sally Ann Matthews will soon be leaving our screens as Jenny after 10 years back in the role. Could Jenny’s feelings for George play a role in her departure?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
