The Spanish prospect is back to the club where he spend two seasons as a junior

Izan Almansa signed a contract with Real Madrid until 2029, as the Spanish big man who went undrafted returns to Europe to jumpstart his career.
According to the press release: “Real Madrid has reached an agreement with Izan Almansa, a power forward who played last season for the Perth Wildcats (NBL, Australia), under which the player remains tied to the club until June 30, 2029.
Almansa, who has already made his debut with the Spanish national team, has a brilliant record in the youth categories, with three medals: gold at the 2022 U-18 European Championship in Turkey, gold at the 2023 U-19 World Cup in Hungary, and silver at the 2022 U-17 World Cup in Spain, and was named MVP at each of these championships.
A Real Madrid youth player for two seasons, Izan Almansa returns to our club at the age of 20, where he won the Spanish U19 Championship in 2021″.
