The 2025 NRL season’s Round 26 clash on Sunday afternoon sees the Dolphins take on the Gold Coast Titans in the Queensland Derby at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
The Dolphins are sitting ninth on the points ladder, just outside the finals spot and will be desperate to secure wins in the remaining two games: starting with the cellar-dwelling Titans before facing the high-flying Raiders.
However, their form is not ideal. They have lost three straight games, including a 58-30 loss to another finals contender, the Sea Eagles, last week. The Dolphins are tied on 26 points with Manly and two points behind the Roosters. The good news? They are facing a team with the worst record in 2025.
The Titans have been stuck in 17th place for most of the year and are coming off a 32-18 loss against the Warriors. Despite putting up a fight early in the game, pressure across the 80 minutes eventually got the better of them.
Gold Coast would love nothing more than to spoil the party for their Queensland rival Dolphins amid their push for the finals. However, they have lost four of the past five meetings with the Phins, including a heavy 36-10 loss earlier in the season.
