Spaniard Jaume Munar moved into the last 16 of the US Open by defeating Belgian Zizou Bergs 6-1, 6-4, 6-4 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York on Saturday.
Munar, ranked No 44, will play No 10 seed Lorenzo Musetti next.
The Spaniard benefits from an open part of the draw thanks to his own win against Canadian Gabriel Diallo, the No 31 seed (7-5, 6-3, 7-5) and the forfeit of Englishman Jack Draper, the No 5 seed.
